I started this design just hours after the election was called, inspired by the spontaneous celebrations that followed and all the hard work of many, many people that made that victory possible. It's a reminder that at the darkest time of year, we have always sought the light of hope. Together, we can be the light we seek.⁠

You can see wise words from Rumi, TS Eliot, Robert Frost, Desmond Tutu, and Julian of Norwich incorporated into the body of the candle, and the chorus of "This Little Light of Mine" in the candle's flame. (The process pictures make those details a little easier to see.)⁠
