don't overthink it
These are process pics of an art journal spread I did last week, the kind of intuitive page that often feels the most free. I didn't have anything in mind for what it would be, picking materials and colors on a whim and letting my inner chronic doodler have free rein. It's meditative to work that way, and not only gave me insight for what I ultimately wrote in the finished top layer (the realization that part of leaving doubt behind means learning not to overthink big decisions, to trust that my instincts are sound), but also gave me inspiration for a new Wishmoon Studio offering that I'm really excited about. (More soon on that.)
This experience is one of the things I love the most about art journaling, and the creative process in general: the recurring lesson that you are already everything you need.
