turn deeply

I've been so heartened by the multitude of ways people are putting beauty and hope and silliness and inspiration out into the world, reminding us of our connection to each other through our infinite capacity to create joy just for the sake of it. I return to these things like a touchstone of comfort, a reassurance that all will be well, and all will be well, and all manner of things will be well.

Which has compelled me to make my own contribution to this great creative outburst, to offer something that might bring joy and hope when we are required not to be close to each other, yet need connection more than ever. That contribution took the form of an idea I'm calling "Send A Wish(Moon)". Here's how it works:

Next week, this design will be available in my shop in card form only for $4/each. When you purchase it, you'll provide the name of the person you'd like to receive the card, their address, and the message you'd like in the card. I will hand-write your message to them (using my best penmanship and a brightly colored pen) in the card, address it, stamp it, and mail it to your person on your behalf. The price is all-inclusive -- it includes the card/envelope with this special design, handwritten message, postage, and dropoff at the post office to get whisked away by courier elves in USPS uniforms to your dear friend, socially distanced loved one, long lost cousin, missed co-worker, former nemesis, or anyone else you want to send a little love and joy to. It's kind of like ordering flowers for someone, but won't trigger their allergies or make a mess when their cat knocks the vase over (speaking from experience on that one).

I'll announce next week when it's ready for purchase so watch for that. And in the meantime, I'd love your help in spreading the word. If I got writer's cramp from writing a gazillion messages of hope and love and silliness from one person to another, that would pretty much be the greatest thing ever.
